Wesel THW was asked to establish two ditch bridges about the external ditch of castle Moyland. These both escape routes and escape routes are editions of a security draught for the Christmas fair taking place in the castle garden.
In very rainy weather 16 companions of Wesel OV mastered this job on the last Saturday. Warm drinks and a midday snack held the motivation of the assistants straight from whom to itself already unites around 7.00 in the lodging had hit. Against 15.30 the technical help could be finished.
On the same day the Christmas celebration of the local association of Wesel took place in the evening. By the coach it went of the lodging to the Bocholter brewery, where the assistants till the next morning Fete.

Die alljährliche Nachtübung des Ortsverbandes Wesel fand vergangenen Samstag am Rheindeich in Bislich statt.
Das Thema des Dienstes war die Deichverteidigung in Kombination mit dem Ausleuchten von Einsatzstellen. In der Unterkunft wurde den Helfern theoretisch vermittelt, welche Schäden bei Hochwasser an Deichen auftreten können und mit welchen Maßnahmen man darauf reagiert.
Mit dem Einbruch der Dunkelheit verließen die Helfer dann die Unterkunft und fuhren nach Bislich zum Rheindeich. Die Helfer sorgten mit dem 50 kVA, der Polyma und einem Powermoon für die Ausleuchtung der Binnenseite des Deiches. Dort bauten sie in einen Ringdeich, den sie im Anschluss mit Wasser füllten.
Die Übung lief ohne größere Probleme ab und so war um 22.00 Uhr die Einsatzbereitschaft in der Weseler Unterkunft wieder hergestellt.Text und Fotos: Robin Bougardier

Einsatz am Samstag/Work at Saturday

Am Samstag waren wir am Tierheim in Wesel im Einsatz.Es wurden Bäume und Büsche gefällt und Wände eingerissen um mehr Platz für die Tiere zu schaffen.

On Saturday we were in use an application in the Weseler animal home. Bushes and trees were liked and to create walls torn around more place for the animals.

We are on the Way to Wesel.The lip ferry for pedestrians was got out and brought to the winter Quatier with the THW.

Heute war schönes Wetter ,ab nach Düsseldorf in den Tierpark(Eintritt frei)Dort werden alle Heimischen Tierarten gezeigt und der Eintritt ist frei.Es gibt dort Wildkatzen,Rotwild,

Waschbären,Fuchs,Iltis,Enten und Wildschweine.

Today was nice weather and, therefore, it went in the animal park to Dusseldorf. There all home animal species are shown and the entry is free. There are there wildcats, red deer,To racoons, fox, polecat, ducks and wild boars.
